A third film in the Sex And The City franchise has been shelved after film bosses were left disappointed by reviews and box office receipts of the sequel, PopEater reports. Sex And The City 2 was released last week, but was savaged by critics and only came in third place at the US box behind Shrek Forever After and Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time. "If the movie had performed as well as the studio had hoped they would definitely have made a third film," a source claimed. "But after these numbers, it's over. They have squeezed as much money out of that franchise as they possibly can and the public knows it."
