Robert Pattinson discusses Twilight fame

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has revealed how the film's success has changed his life.

Robert Pattinson has said Twilight’s phenomenal success has resulted in a complete lack of privacy for the young actor. “People ambush me and try and find out what hotel I’m staying at, as well as wanting to touch my hair,” Robert told Hollyscoop. “Everyone just screams and screams. It still feels surreal. One time, there were these four girls, in Chicago I think, and they had all scratched their necks until they bled. And then when they came up to me they had these bleeding scabs. It was gross! I would like to think I haven’t changed that much,” he said. “Within myself I don’t think I have changed but I guess that outwardly - like when I walk down the street I look down a little more often. But this is just extraordinary. I don’t think any of us expected this to happen and it just seems to keep building and building.”

Meanwhile, the film’s producers have announced that actress Bryce Dallas Howard will replace Rachelle Lefevre in the role of Victoria, lead character Bella’s sworn enemy, in the third film of the franchise. "Rachelle brought Victoria to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character,” Summit Entertainment's Erik Feig said. "The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."
