Rihanna would testify against Chris Brown if called as a witness her lawyer has confirmed. Brown was charged with assault likely to cause great bodily injury and making criminal threats this week after an alleged attack on Rihanna in February. Reports in the US say the Umbrella star has since reconciled with Brown and wouldn't be giving evidence against him however, her Lawyer Donald Etra has said she would be legally required to give evidence if issued with a subpoena. "Etra said Rihanna did not want a "no contact" order issued against Brown," the BBC report. "She will report any violations of an order prohibiting him from threatening, harassing or harming her. He added Rihanna wanted the case to be over with quickly so she could get on with her life and career."
