Ricky Whittle may face civil action over his alleged assault of a paparazzi, Digital Spy reports. Last week, Strictly Come Dancing star Whittle was arrested in Liverpool after his car allegedly hit photographer Steve Farrell. Police released Whittle on bail on Friday pending further enquiries. However, lawyers for the snapper have admitted they are looking into bringing a compensation case against the actor. "At this point in time we are making enquiries into the incident," Pannone Law's Nick Harrison explained. "Mr Farrell maintains that he was going about the normal course of his business as a freelance photographer when he was struck by a vehicle being driven by Mr Whittle. If the evidence suggests that Mr Whittle drove negligently into Mr Farrell, then Mr Farrell may well have a case for claiming compensation for his injuries and any loss of earnings."
