There was shock in the US R&B game last week when Regina Daniel, R Kelly’s publicist for the last 14 years suddenly quit and released a cryptic statement. Regina had always been loyal to Kelly, even when he was charged 21 counts of having sexual intercourse with a minor, he still faces 14 counts of soliciting a minor for child pornography, but something had tipped here over the edge. “Though I have a great appreciation for Mr. Kelly as an artist, there are some lines that should never be crossed professionally or personally. Mr. Kelly crossed a line that forever altered the scope of our relationship. For this reason I made the decision to resign.” Was all she has said on the matter. A source close to the PR claims to know what the crossed line was. According to reports, Kelly allegedly slept with Daniels’ 19 year old daughter, whom he’s known since she was four years old.
