Ricky Whittle has been arrested on suspicion of assault, Merseyside police have told BBC news. Hollyoaks star Ricky - the favourite to win this year’s Strictly Come Dancing – is in custody following an incident in the Duke Street area of Liverpool in the early hours of this morning, a spokeswoman confirmed. It is believed Whittle had been to a party in the city before being involved in a collision between a car and a male pedestrian, who suffered minor injuries.Ricky dances with Australian professional Natalie Lowe on Strictly Come Dancing, the couple have consistently received the highest scores throughout the 10 weeks of the competition.
