Police apologise for Berry queue-jumping

Canadian police have apologised for letting Halle Berry skip to the front of queue at a Montreal airport security point.
Police in Canada have apologised for allowing Oscar winner Halle Berry jump a queue at Montreal airport. Sources have told Access Hollywood, Halle and her family were worried they would miss their flight back to the US when they arrived at the back of a long queue to go through airport security. "The boyfriend of Ms Berry asked if they could go faster through the line because they were late and they had the baby," Inspector Jimmy Cacchione explained. "The officer took the personal initiative to allow them to go through the line faster, but that's not something the Montreal police supports." Cacchione went on to add that the officer on the scene will not be reprimanded, but said rules will be brought in to stop the incident happening again.
