Piers Morgan has laid into fellow talent show judge Louis Walsh. Earlier this month, Walsh joined Morgan on the Britain's Got Talent judging panel while Simon Cowell was unwell. The two have since swapped insults in the press with Louis first criticising Morgan and claiming he "knows nothing about music", before Morgan retaliated and called Walsh a "poor man's Jason Gardiner".
"I sold 2.8 billion newspapers as an editor, a rather higher figure than little Louis has sold records. So I do have a fair idea what the British public like and don't like," Morgan wrote in his weekly Daily Mail column. "And he seems to have forgotten that BGT is not just about singers and music anyway. I've now judged ten pigs in the last four years here and in America, making me unarguably the most experienced judge of porcine talent in history. For my part, I liked having Louis around for a couple of days. It's always nice to have a grandpa figure on the panel who can relate to the pensioner acts on their level."
