Peter Andre has accepted “substantial” damages from magazine publisher IPC Media for an article that claimed he was lying about being a good husband and dad. In July, Now magazine ran a piece titled Jordan Explodes: ‘Tell The Truth Peter!’ that suggested Andre may have been at fault for two accidents suffered by Harvey, Katie Price's disabled son. “Mr Andre was also said to have demanded sick sexual threesomes from his wife, which horrified her and which she did not enjoy, feeling used and like a sex doll,” Peter’s solicitor, Gordon Williams, told press outside London’s High Court. "As a result, Mr Andre was said to be lying in portraying himself as a loving father and husband." Now magazine and publisher IPC Media have now accepted the story was untrue.
Andre, who had originally sued the publisher for £300,000, declined to reveal the amount he’d been awarded but said he was pleased with the ruling. "I take my responsibilities very seriously,” Peter, who was at court for the ruling, told press. “I would never do anything to hurt my children, whom I love very much."
Peter Andre is said to be furious with Katie Price’s decision to return to the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. Do you think she’s right to go?
