Patrick Swayze is said to have given up his chemotherapy treatment after doctors conceded there was little they could do to halt the progress of his disease. The actor is suffering from pancreatic cancer, often called the silent killer due to its tendency to remain undetected until effective treatment is too late. “His condition is inoperable and they have stopped the chemo. He's still losing weight and he's very weak,” a family friend told the National Enquirer before adding the goal is now to keep Swayze ‘comfortable’. “Patrick regards himself as a cowboy and is determined to die with his boots on and no regrets.”
