Paris Hilton and Benji Madden have split up after nine months together, the socialite’s publicist announced today. “They remain good friends,” was the only extra information Alanna McCarthy, Paris’ PR, would reveal, in a statement released to press. However sources for Star magazine claim the split is down to Benji. “She couldn't take his overbearing ways any more,” the insider says. “It was stressing her out.
