Sean Combs, P Diddy, has won an apology from the LA Times after the paper printed a story claiming Diddy was involved in the murder of Tupac Shakur. Editor Russ Stanton made apology before admitting the paper had been conned by a boasting prisoner. "The bottom line is that the documents we relied on should not have been used." A furious Combs said, "I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story," Before adding, "It's a libellous piece of garbage. In the past 14 years, I have not even been questioned by law enforcement with regard to the assault of Tupac Shakur, let alone brought up on charges. I simply ask for all rap fans and fans of Tupac to analyse this fiction for what it is."
