The original members of the Sugababes have recruited Peter Andre’s manager to oversee their comeback, insiders have told the Sun. Despite Keisha Buchanan’s management insisting that she is “definitely, 100% not going to be involved in any kind of Sugababes reunion” the former band mates are said to have met in secret last week and decided to get back together. "The comeback is gathering momentum,” the source explained. "Mutya had a lot of convincing to do to get the girls around the table to sort things out. That happened last week and they are all game to give it a go. Mutya's manager knows he needs some muscle to make it a commercial success and he's called in his old pal Claire [Powell – Peter Andre’s manager]. The other girls are delighted to be back in touch. They are bang up for it with the new management team. They are now looking for a record deal and have started planning for a big launch next year." Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and Jade Ewen – the current Sugababes line-up – scored a No 8 hit earlier this month with About A Girl. They are currently recording new material for their next album, Sweet 7.Take a step back in time and read our 2003 interview with Keisha, Heidi and Mutya, Sugababes version 2.0.
