Oprah Winfrey has topped a list of celebrity charity donaters the Giving Back Fund has announced. According to their records the chat show host's charities spent a whopping £28million on health care and education in the last year. Completing the top five are record company boss Herb Alpert whose foundation gave £7.2million to education programmes, Babara Streisand who gave away £6.1million to a variety of causes, Hollywood legend Paul Newman who donated £5.6million to the Scholarship Kenyon College and actor Mel Gibson who gave £5.5million to his Holy Family Church.
