Naomi Campbell will not face criminal charges for an alleged assault on her chauffeur, New York police have told the BBC. Supermodel Naomi is accused of hitting her driver from behind, causing his head to hit the steering wheel, as they drove through New York. Police explained that the model's driver, who had been hired to collect Naomi from a Manhattan hotel to the Astoria Studios in Queens, told them he had to pull his black Cadillac Escalade over to the side of the road after Campbell struck him but will not press charges. However, police have confirmed they had issued a harassment report, which carries no penalty. "There is more to the story than meets the eye," Campbell's spokesman Jeff Raymond told the Associated Press before adding that the model would co-operate voluntarily with the police.
