Nicollette Sheridan offered peace deal

TV executives are prepared to offer Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan a "peace package" to stop her legal action against producer Marc Cherry.
Executives at ABC are willing to pay Nicollette Sheridan a "peace package" to stop her bringing a $20m (£13m) wrongful dismissal and assault case against Desperate Housewives boss Marc Cherry, ContactMusic reports. Earlier this month, Sheridan filed legal papers claiming Cherry had slapped her in 2008 for questioning his script decisions before suddenly writing her out of the show. "Our legal team is working to get both sides together to see if they can help broker a compromise," an ABC legal insider claimed. "This doesn't mean that anyone is going to hand Nicollette $20m to drop her action and walk away but there are various incentives that might be put on the table."
