A busy body local residents' association has stopped pregnant Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden buying their dream home in a Southern California gated community. Neighbours were worried about the press attention having the couple move in would bring. Needless to say Nicole's not happy. A friend said, "Nicole was livid because she loved the house. She thinks it's a BS reason, but she couldn't fight it." To be fair though, isn't the reason why the residents chose to live in gated community so they wouldn't have to deal with the likes Joel and Nicole?
