Pregnant Nicole Kidman is to star in and produce a film based on the life of soul star Dusty Springfield, reports Variety. According to insiders Kidman will work on the film with Michael Cunningham who wrote The Hours. Nicole will be going up against at least one other film based on the singer, who died of breast cancer in 1999.
