Naomi Campbell settles assault case

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has settled a legal case with her former maid.

Naomi Campbell has settled out of court with the former maid who accused the supermodel of assaulting her. Maid Gaby Gibson alledged that Campbell had hit her, called her names and threatened to charge her with theft over a pair of misplaced jeans in November 2006. Naomi denied all the accusations against her and was never charged. Lawyers for the model wouldn't confirm details of the settlement but told website TMZ that both sides were satisfied, adding: "I think everybody is happy this is over."
