Heidi Montag has insisted she discussed her plans to have cosmetic surgery with her mother before going under the knife. Reports in the US press have suggested Darlene Egelhoff, Heidi’s mum, was "horrified" to learn her daughter had undergone 10 procedures in one day. However, Heidi has said she had informed her mother of her decision.
"I had talked to her about [surgery] before and I've had this conversation with her several times,” Heidi said during an interview with ABC’s Nightline. "So I think she knew. I already heard what she had to say. My mum's very... supportive about whatever makes you happy in life. Actually, she was excited for me and she's asking me for her surgery next. So for Mother's Day, I have to ask [surgeon] Dr Frank Ryan if he'll do the mommy makeover. But I think that she understands,” Montag added. “And I think the first surgery was a little more wary for her, and a little more foreign to her, and she was a little more concerned."
