It looked like the unlucky in love supermodel had moved on since her tempestuous relationship with the Babyshambles frontman, after being introduced to Hince by mutual friend Sadie Frost backstage at one of his gigs.
However, a source close to the model has revealed that the musician reminds Kate of Pete, which she finds 'comforting'.
'Kate says Jamie has little traits and characteristics that remind her of Pete,' a source told the Daily Mail.
'She always goes for the same sort of men - dangerous and seemingly unavailable, but with a good heart underneath.
'Jamie is a great guy and Kate really likes him. Sometimes she loves the fact he reminds her of Pete as that's what she knows best and it's comforting for her, but she has told us sometimes it drives her nuts.'
