Mischa Barton to accept plea deal

Former OC star Mischa Barton is to accept a plea bargain in DUI court case this week.

Mischa Barton will accept a plea deal in her DUI case this week a source has told People magazine. Insiders say the former OC star will plead no contest to her driving under the influence charges in court this Thursday in Beverly Hills. Accepting a plea will save her spending any time in prison although she will have agree to serve a three-year unsupervised probation term, attend alcohol-education classes and pay an £850 fine. A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office would not comment on the case. Speaking on American Idol host Ryan Seacrest’s radio show in January Mischa said, “Obviously I'm 100 per cent responsible for my actions in this case. I'm really disappointed in myself. I don't know what to say about it, except that I'm not perfect, and I just don't ever intend to do something this stupid again.”
