Mickey Rourke has announced the death of his 17-year-old pet dog Loki. The Oscar nominated star has long been a Chihuahua lover and was often seen on the red carpet with his beloved pet. “Loki fell asleep peacefully in my arms," Rourke told press. "Loki is deeply missed but with me in spirit." After recently winning Best Actor honours at the Golden Globe Awards for his role in The Wrestler Rourke dedicated it to his dogs. "Sometimes when a man's alone,” he explained. “All you got is your dogs."
