Mickey Rourke has issued an apology for using a gay slur in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Rourke was caught on camera heading to a Los Angeles night club when a paparazzo asked him about the reports linking him with Evan Rachel Wood. "Tell that f****t who wrote all that s**t in the paper I'd like to break his f*****g legs," Mickey said. But the actor, tipped to win an Oscar for his new film The Wrestler, has been quick to issue a statement to apologise. "I want to sincerely apologise for the derogatory word I used," he says. "It was insensitive and inappropriate of me and I am deeply sorry that I may have offended anyone."
