Dr Conrad Murray is to be charged with Michael Jackson’s involuntary manslaughter, sources in the US have claimed. In August last year, the Los Angeles coroner confirmed that Jackson's death was primarily caused by the anaesthetic Propofol and that Murray was under investigation after admitting to police that he had been giving Jackson Propofol as a treatment for insomnia. However, Murray insists he did not prescribe or administer anything that should have killed Jackson. While Los Angeles District Attorney's office have filed no charges against Murray have so far, his legal team have said he is happy to continue cooperating with the authorities. "If the cops want him he's not hiding. We'll be happy to surrender him and they know that," Murray’s lawyer Ed Chernoff told Reuters. "I don't think they should be filing charges at all."
Last year, Michael Jackson’s older brother Tito said he had forgiven Dr Murray.
