Michael Jackson has avoided having to appear in London's High Court by reaching a settlement with Sheikh Abdulla Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa. The son of the King of Bahrain, who was suing the singer for £4.7million claiming he'd backed out of a music contract. A spokesman for Jackson, who was said to be just about to board a flight to the UK when he was given the news, told the BBC that an agreement between the pair had been reached in principle.
