Matthew McConaughey has said he is "honoured" to announce the birth of his daughter. The actor and his partner Camila Alves welcomed daughter Vida Alves McConaughey, weighing in at a healthy 7lb 7oz, into the world yesterday. The couple are already parents to one-year-old son Levi. "Vida is Portuguese for life and that's what God gave us this morning," McConaughey wrote in a statement on his official website. "Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honoured to welcome this little lady into our family... thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks."
