Maddona is attempting to get movie classic Casablanca remade with herself cast as the lead the Daily Mail claims. According to their sources Madonna has approached a major studio about the proposed film. "Madonna is talking about taking the Ingrid Bergman role for herself, even though Bergman was in her 20s when she played Ilsa and Madonna is nearly 50. She wants to update the story and maybe set it in a modern war zone such as Iraq. There is no script yet." The source goes onto to say that as yet the project hasn't picked up any interest, wonder why?!
