Madonna has announced she is launching a junior fashion line with her 13-year-old daughter Lourdes, the Los Angeles Times reports. Material Girl will be launched at Macy's department stores in the US on 3 August and will include apparel, footwear, jewellery and handbags priced between $12 (£8) to $40 (£27).
Madonna has admitted she drew on her daughter's unique sense of style when designing the range. "I think this line is absolutely an extension of her taste," she said. "We like to combine... a plaid or a flannel with a lace, or leather with lace or rhinestones. So we mix and match textures and fabrics and elements that are both masculine and feminine."
