Madonna adoption case adjourned

The Malawian Supreme Court has adjourned Madonna’s appeal against the decision to deny her request to adopt a child.

The Malawian Supreme Court has adjourned Madonna's appeal against the decision to deny her request to adopt a child.

Madonna's appeal against the Malawian courts ruling denying her request to adopt a second child from the country has been adjourned. Last month the courts decided the singer couldn't adopt a second child, said to be three-year-old Mercy James, as she wasn't a permanent resident in the African country. Madonna wasn't at the closed hearing and no date for the next session has been set.
