Louis Walsh has signed a management deal with former X Factor contestantsJohn and Edward Grimes, the TV judge has admitted. Louis was mentor to the pair through the show and has told BBC News he is delighted he is now representing them. "Despite all the doubters, John and Edward proved themselves on The X Factor and I've always been convinced that they have a great career ahead of them," Louis explained. "I'm delighted that I'll be able to continue to work with the pair. We're looking into music as well as TV deals but at this stage it is too early to give any exact details."
X Factor finalists are all managed by Modest Management while the show is on air but Louis admitted he had reached an "amicable agreement" with the company allowing him to guide the pairs career along with business partner Ashley Tabor, the CEO of broadcasting company Global Group. Jedward are this year's X Factor phenomenon and I'm thrilled to be able to put the scale of the Global Group behind them alongside Louis, Tabor added. Developing what I am sure will be a great career for them both. It's an exciting future."
