Lindsay Lohan has posed nude in the latest issue of New York Magazine. The photos faithfully recreate Marilyn Monroe’s famous ‘last sitting’ session and were shot by Bert Stern, the photographer on the original session. “I didn’t have to put much thought into it,” Lindsay explained about her decision to do the shoot. “I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honour.” When asked about Monroe’s suicide, Lindsay said, “Tragic. You know, it’s also tragic what just recently happened to someone else.” Asked if she was speaking of Heath Ledger, Lindsay, who’s been to rehab three times herself said, “They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone. I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”
