Lindsay Lohan has checked herself into rehab, gossip sites TMZ.com and X17.com report. The actress was pictured entering the Pickford Lofts sober living facility, in Los Angeles on Wednesday and has already been visited by ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Lohan's lawyer, Robert Shapiro, founded the home - that boasts four lofts containing "a large living room with a flat-screen HD cable and DVD player, a sofa, two recliners, coffee and end tables, wireless high-speed internet access. A spacious dining area with additional counter seating opens into a newly-remodeled fully-stocked kitchen" - after his son Brent died of substance abuse.
However, prosecutor Danette Myers has said Lindsay, who is due to start a 90-day prison sentence for breaching her probation next week, has checked in to try and avoid going behind bars. "It's really a moot point to ask Judge Revel to send Ms. Lohan to rehab only as Judge Revel has already sentenced her," Myers told RadarOnline. "Ms. Lohan is going to jail... Judge Revel could have sentenced her to more time behind bars, but she didn't. The only issue to be decided is what rehabilitation facility Ms. Lohan will be sent to after she serves her jail time."
