Lily Allen pens song for James Corden

Lily Allen has written a song for friend and Gavin and Stacey creator James Corden to celebrate his wins at this year’s BAFTA TV Awards. Sources have told the Daily Star “Lily has been really touched by James and his kindness and humour. When James was a guest on Lily’s show and told her that she didn’t know how lovely she was, it was a landmark moment for her in a horrible year. She wanted to do something to mark his big night.” Called from From Barry To Billericay the song is said to contain the lyric “‘Your heart is the ocean we all get swept up in,”’ but the source was adamant there is no romance between singer and actor. “Despite what everyone thinks, they’re not dating but they really are soulmates. The song describes how James has touched the country with his kind humour, not just Lily.”
