Leona Lewis was paid £1million to perform at a 21st birthday party, The Sun reports. Lewis performed just seven songs – which incredibly makes it her longest ever gig – for 200 guests at the party of billionaire Phones4U founder John Caudwell's daughter Libby. “Leona was not supposed to do any live shows until next year, but she made an exception,” an insider explained. "It's a hell of a lot of money and was a great party, so it was fun being involved.” A friend of the birthday girl added, “It was a night Libby will certainly never forget. It was like a dream. She has not stopped talking about it ever since. Libby knew something was going to happen, but she just couldn't believe it when Leona walked on the stage. Like most girls of her age, Libby is a massive fan of Leona." A spokesman for Leona confirmed yesterday, "She did perform at a private event, but all details are confidential."
