Scotland Yard has confirmed a man has been charged and sectioned under the mental health act for attacking Leona Lewis at her book signing in London this week. Peter Kopwalczyk, 29, is accused of common assault after Lewis was punched while signing copies of her autobiography, Dreams, in Piccadilly on Wednesday. "I'm very sorry to those I wasn't able to meet at the signing," Leona said in a statement after the incident. "Thank you again for all of the lovely messages. Love you all."
