Kris Marshall in intensive care after accident

Love, Actually star Kris Marshall is in intensive care after being hit by a car in Bristol.

Actor Kris Marshall has suffered head injuries after being hit by a car. Marshall, 34, was on a night out in centre of Bristol when the accident happened. He is currently being treated in the intensive care ward of the city’s Royal Infirmary hospital, though his mother told the BBC his condition was improving. A spokesman for Avon and Somerset police said, “There was a collision between a car and pedestrian shortly before 1am on Sunday. A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with head injuries not considered to be life threatening. Police spoke to the driver of the car involved, which was a VW Polo. He stopped immediately after the collision and we are looking into how it happened. He was not a drink driver.” Kris had recently been working with Kelly Brook on new brit horror movie Hotel Caledonia. He starred in the film Love, Actually and also played Nick in the BBC sitcom My Family - for five years from 2000.
