Kiefer Sutherland broke a man’s nose when he head butted him while trying to defend actress Brooke Shields’ honour, sources have told TMZ. The incident is said to have taken place at an after-party for the Met Costume Institute Ball in New York when Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCullough knocked actress Brooke Shields over, prompting Sutherland to demand an apology. The pair are then said to have scuffled before the head butt. However, a spokesman for Shields has denied McCullough pushed the actress. “Nothing happened to her,” the rep explains. "Jack did nothing inappropriate. It's not clear what caused Keifer to do what he did.” Police are believed to be investigating the incident.
