Kerry Katona has said she is ‘sorry and ashamed' following the release of pictures of her appearing to take cocaine. Photos and a video of the incident ran in last weekend's News of the World and online but while Kerry apologised she stopped short of commenting on the nature of the powder she apparently snorted. "It was a moment of weakness and stupidity and I regret it terribly," Kerry told the Sunday Mirror. "I'm not a drug addict. I don't wake up and think I need drugs. But I know that I have to get some help to make sure I never take drugs again. The biggest fear I could ever have is losing my children. But I'm not aware that Brian wants custody of the girls," she added, referring to recent claims that her ex-husband Brian McFadden is making a legal bid for full custody of their children. Kerry also explained that she understood supermarket chain Iceland's decision to drop her from their adverts. "I wasn't shocked by the decision. I understood that I'd given them no choice. They have stood by me through thick and thin and this is how I repaid them. I'm sorry I let them down."
