Rock offspring Kelly Osbourne has been arrested for slapping a gossip columnist.

Kelly Osbourne has been arrested for an alledged assualt police have confirmed. The sometime-presenter is reported to have slapped Mirror showbiz columnist Zoe Griffin in London's Punk nightclub after the scribe had joked that Kelly's boyfriend Luke Worrall didn't know what an earthquake was. "Kelly shouted loudly in my ear, 'I have an issue with you. Everyone has been laughing at my boyfriend.' Then I felt a hard slap," said Griffin. Police confirmed Osbourne had voluntarily attended a police station earlier this month. "We can confirm a 24-year-old woman attended a central London police [station] by appointment on 2 January," a Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed. "She was arrested for common assault relating to an alleged incident in Soho in the early hours of August 29, 2008. She has been bailed until a date in March."
