Reports that Katie Price ruined her make-up artist's wedding with swear-word laden karaoke performance have been denied by Phil Turner, the groom. "People make a lot of stuff up about Kate at the moment. It was said she wrecked our wedding but nothing like that ever went on. There was no bad language. It was a fantastic wedding, she was a fantastic guest and friend and we had a fantastic day," Phil told PA. "I do feel bad for her. Because you open the papers every day and there's so many lies and sometimes it makes you laugh because we've been there and they say things which aren't true whatsoever. She's a fantastic person, a fantastic friend and she's obviously going through a tough time."
You can make your own mind up about Katie's behaviour at the wedding as, handily, it was all caught on film! Celebrity Four Weddings airs on LIVING on Monday September 7th at 9pm.
In other Katie news, the former glamour has taken to her weekly OK magazine column to say she was "appalled" by reports that new boyfriend Alex Reid has appeared in a film glorifying rape. "Rape is a subject very close to my own heart. I was raped when I was younger, more than once," Katie explained, referring to an interview she gave to Piers Morgan in March where she confessed she was sexually abused when she was just six-years-old. "I'd never be associated with anything or anyone so sick. I've never talked about this before, but I feel I have to now because I was so hurt by these accusations that I would not take a subject, which affects so many women, seriously. Someone who was close to Alex was also raped and he is as horrified as I am by these claims."
