Former Another Level singer Dane Bowers was arrested on suspicion of drink driving near his ex-girlfriend Katie Price's Surrey home, the Press Association report. Bowers and a male friend were held by police after their Vauxhall Tigra crashed into a hedge near the recently single reality TV star's house in Woldingham, Surrey, yesterday morning. "Just after 4.20am on Tuesday, May 26, two men were arrested in Woldingham on suspicion of driving with alcohol above the legal limit," a police spokesman confirmed. "The men, aged 26 and 29, were taken to Reigate police station but they were released later that day on police bail pending further inquiries." Police sources told the London Lite that Bowers and his friend had claimed the car was stolen and crashed though the car's keys were found on the former boy band singer. "They were taken to a station to work out who was driving - and that is when Mr Bowers said Price could give him an alibi. Exactly what he was doing with her is not part of the investigation," the source explained. "She is just needed to verify he was where he was when he said. She will be asked if Mr Bowers drove away from the address or if she understands the car was taken."
