Katie Price has angrily said Peter Andre’s recent comments about her behaviour since their split are “like wife-beating”, the Daily Star reports. While Andre has recently branded Katie “disgusting” and “a disgrace” the former glamour model has accused him of using their split to boost his record sales. “I would never slate the father of my children like he has done to me in the last few weeks. How dare he call me disgusting?” Price reportedly told a friend. “Why should I be the pawn in his desperate publicity drive for his music? As for what Pete has said about me recently - well, this is like wife beating.” Insiders added that Katie is “profoundly upset” by her exes’ recent criticisms. “Kate is fuming everything Pete has said about her recently,” the source claims. “It has been getting nastier and nastier between them for weeks and although Kate is guilty too, she is now hoping that Pete will respect her and say enough is enough.”
