Katie Price= has announced she plans to marry =Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid later this year. After reportedly being dropped by Hello! magazine over the weekend, Katie made the announcement in her first interview as part of a new deal with OK! magazine
"This year I will marry Alex and I'm going to have his kids," Katie explained. "I wish I'd met Alex six years ago. He's perfect in every way. He's a proper gentleman. Every man I've been with, I'd never buy a house with them, never buy a car with them. But I said to Alex, forget my house, we should buy a house together.
"I'm going to downsize so we can both afford it,” Katie added. "I need Katie. I don't need her for fame but I need her,” a delighted Reid said. “It has been a fantastic start to the new year and it's going to be even more fantastic now this is happening."
Meanwhile, Irish artist Kevin Sharkey has unveiled a provocative new portrait that blends Katie Price’s image with child murderer Myra Hindley. “I got the idea for this piece when I read a newspaper headline that shocked me,” Sharkey told the Metro.
“The article described Katie as The Most Hated Woman In Britain. I couldn't believe that people could really feel that strongly about her when there's so much evil in the world. I hope when people look at [the piece] they will immediately realise the two women are poles apart. I'm not looking to defend Jordan, but I hope I can make people think more seriously about the way they react to celebrities.”
