Following her ninth successful Topshop collaboration in the UK, supermodel Kate Moss has branched out, launching her line in America's first Topshop store yesterday. The opening of the flagship store in New York attracted a star studded crowd with Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony attending. Wearing an outfit from her own collection, Kate and Topshop owner Sir Philip Green greeted the queue of fashionistas snaking around the block.
The success of the new store must be a huge relief to Sir Philip who was forced to delay the event for nine months due to the current economic crisis. Money certainly didn't seem to be issue for the billionaire on Wednesday night, though, when he decided to throw a lavish dinner to celebrate the new opening on Wednesday night, inviting friends J.Lo and Marc to join in the fun.
