Our heartfelt condolences go out to rapper Kanye West who lost his mother, also his manager, this weekend. Kanye often spoke of his closeness he shared with his mother, a former Chair of the English Department at Chicago State University. He was in London when given the tragic news and immediately left to return home. It's not yet clear what the cause of death was.
