The bad vibes started when she returned to the UK earlier this year to present at the Brit Awards with a distinct US twang to her accent. “It's not just one person - it's the whole country and it's like they're mad at me, maybe for being over in America,” she explained in a BBC 1Xtra interview. “It's just like, well, thanks guys! It's like coming home and having them be like, 'Go away, we don't like you! I don't really understand, to be honest. Maybe because I dye my hair, maybe because my accent's all messed up.
