Johnny Depp has won back his Sexiest Man Alive crown after winning a vote by the readers of People magazine. Johnny, 46, first won the award in 2003 and has featured in the top 10 ever since, narrowly losing out last year to Wolverine star Hugh Jackman. However, while speaking on US chat show the Early Show following the announcement of Depp’s win, senior editor Kate Coyne claimed the actor had now achieved "iconic status in terms of sexiness". "Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago,” Coyne added. “He'll be sexy 10 years from now. He's someone who appeals to multiple generations of women."
Earlier this year Johnny was pipped to the post of Glamour magazine’s Sexiest Man In The World poll by Twilight star Robert Pattinson.
