Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, in the early hours of this morning in New York. Weighing in at 5lb 7oz, J.Lo’s daughter was born first at 5:12am followed by a 6lb boy 21 minutes later. While there’s no official news on their names yet, last month Jennifer’s mum Guadalupe appeared to let the cat out of the bag when she was spotted buying matching baby identity bracelets engraved with the names Emme and Max. Simon Fields, Lopez’ manager said, “Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon.” Speaking before the birth to Harper’s Bazaar, J.Lo spoke of her career plans once she became a mother, “I really just wanted to shut it down. Recently I've had to do things, including a video. It may not sound like a lot, but you know, any woman can sympathise. It is a lot. I was ready just to sit.”
