The two met back in 2005 after Vince Vaughn introduced them to each other on the set of The Break-Up, and were slated to begin work on a new comedy together later this year. The film, an adaptation of the best selling novel, Marley & Me has subsequently been put on hold until next year by which time producers hope Owen will have made a full recovery. According to a source close the actress, Jen has been sending him copies of her favourite books, and encouraging him to practise breathing techniques, yoga and meditation. “Owen has come to rely on Jen’s phone calls,” revealed the top secret source, because “both are wounded souls.”
